I'm a eager new radio astronomer at Victoria University of Wellington. Melanie Johnston-Hollitt is the brains, I'm the data-computer-geek-guy. It will be few years before I get to the PhD.
At present I'm boosting my physics by getting 300-level courses under my belt before taking on the post-grad astronomy and physics. And this is all happening at the snail pace of a part time student. During summer I took two months off from my normal work to be a research assistant. Great fun. I looked at the NVSS rotation measures and the radio luminosity functions of Abell 3125 and 3218.
I have a MSc with Distinction in Operations Research and Statistics from Victoria.
