I'm Marc White, I'm a PhD student from Mt Stromlo Observatory at ANU, Canberra. The main focus of my PhD work is the modelling of the outflows from young stellar objects, in particular the formation of structures in those outflows. I also do a little bit of data reduction & interpretation on the side.
I aim to eventually get on to some MHD modelling, but so far I've been working on my observations, and analytical models. I play cricket, have a well-known hatred of Mac computers (even though I'm now forced to use one,) and long for my home town of Perth, where the temperature never, EVER goes below zero.
